He’s a man who has not only mastered the art of sushi-making; he’s transcended it! Marin developed a passion for cooking and interest in international flavors while growing up in Central Mexico. He enrolled in culinary school, and it wasn’t long before he was preparing tantalizing dishes for dignitaries in his native country. Marin’s singular talent led him to Chicago, where he learned to prepare dishes from around the world and did a special apprenticeship in French and Italian cuisine. He learned the art of sushi preparation here in the Tampa Bay area, training in the area for nine years. He came to Snookers after four years as sushi chef at the Island Way Grill in Clearwater, Fl. A man who never tires of taking sushi to new heights of creativity, Marin has Snookers customers raving about his fresh – and unexpected – creations!
